PRIMAVERA
San Juan Capistrano, CA
The 1990s residence, recently acquired by my client, held the promise of transformation. While its structure stood solid, its dated interiors yearned for renewal. One of our first endeavors was to reimagine the staircase - a centerpiece of the home that we stripped to its bones and rebuilt with a design that blended modernity with timeless grace. The kitchen, too, was gutted to its core and reborn with the soul of a bygone era, featuring a stunning set of vintage 1950s pantry doors, soapstone countertops and unlacquered brass fixtures.
Throughout the home, we installed all new flooring including limestone tile, herringbone wood and hand-painted tiles. We layered the walls with lime wash and fresh paint, introduced striking light fixtures, intricate wallpaper and more, creating an environment that felt deeply personal and effortlessly chic. My client’s love for bright and bold colors, intricate patterns, and eclectic accents met a curated balance with touches of traditional charm, resulting in a home that radiates personality, sophistication, and warmth.
